Hello, my name is Scott, and I have a deep understanding of the challenges that come with trying to quit smoking. I started smoking in my teenage years, and like many others, found it difficult to stop despite understanding the health risks. Smoking was not just a habit but a significant part of my daily routine. My personal and professional experience as a smoker and my own journey to quit, alongside the training and skills I have developed in understanding smoking and quitting behaviours have given me unique insights into the difficulties and triumphs associated with smoking cessation.

I have trained, learning behavioural techniques, theory and facts, that with support and medication, your chances of successfully quitting are vastly increased than trying to give up on your own.  

How I Stopped Using Vapes

After numerous failed attempts to quit smoking, I turned to vaping as a cessation tool. Vaping offered a less harmful alternative to smoking, and I found it to be a practical stepping stone. The transition from smoking to vaping helped reduce my nicotine dependence gradually. Over time, I was able to decrease the nicotine strength in my vape liquid until I no longer needed it. This gradual reduction made the quitting process more manageable and ultimately successful.

Common Misconceptions about Vapes

There are several misconceptions about vaping that can lead to confusion. One of the most common myths is that vaping is as harmful as smoking. While not entirely risk-free, vaping is generally considered a less harmful alternative because it eliminates many of the toxic chemicals found in cigarette smoke. Another misconception is that vaping is only for those who want to continue their nicotine addiction. In reality, many people use vaping as a step towards quitting nicotine altogether.
